April 2004

It's April! And April means many things for me. My garden is beginning to bloom, I have fresh daffodils in a vase on my dining room table, Easter is next week, and three days from now my husband and I will be celebrating our TENTH wedding anniversary. Plus, my kids are out of school for the next week, for spring break. That's a lot to celebrate!

Flowers may or may not be blooming where you are, but you still have something to celebrate this month. The resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior!

Do you know the wonderful things He has done for you, dear reader? Can you begin to imagine what it would be like to choose to do what Christ did for you? That's right. Jesus knew what was going to happen to him long before the day he was crucified. He knew it, and he still did it. You know why? Because he loves you that much.

The really cool thing is that all he asks in return is for you to give him your heart. Have you done that? The Bible says, "If you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Would you like to know more about giving Jesus your heart? E-mail me. I would love to pray with you and for you. Or even just chat.

In the mean time, I hope you have a blessed Easter, and a spring filled with new life!

With Love,

Rebecca
