Most people have some "New Year's Resolution" every year. And sadly, most of us don't meet them, at least not for long. Well, instead of thinking of the traditional New Year's resolution, I want you to think (and pray) about what you want to be different in your life this time next year. And then, write out a plan to make that desire a reality. Many people make it a goal to lose weight, eat healthier, or exercise more--and these are all good things. But I want you to focus on your spiritual life. Do you want your relationship with Christ to deepen? Is there some weakness in your life that you are struggling to overcome? So, here's what you do:
1. Decide what in your life needs to change/improve, and write about it. Be as detailed or as general as you want.
2. Write out a plan of action. What do you need to do to make that change a reality?
3. Put your plan into action--and don't let it fizzle out! Keep a record of it in your journal to help keep yourself in check.
